Leona
I’ve been practicing yoga since 2006 & teaching for 18+ years.
Originally from the U.S., I’ve been living in Sweden for the past 13 years experiencing family life — a journey that has shaped & softened me.
My teaching style is intentionally simple. A return to breath & movement in harmony — allowing the practice to nourish, support & meet each person where they are.
My offering is rooted in a grounding modified Ashtanga sequence that weaves in the heart, lymphatic & nervous system.
For me, yoga is an anchoring tool — a way to build strength, focus & self-trust. It’s a path of self-knowledge; learning to meet & work with the light & shadow within.
Alongside yoga, I’ve been walking with the Sacred Fire of the Heart Altar for 8+ years. I have a connection to rhythm, percussion, & sound — sharing vibration as a way to ground, attune, & uplift.
My creative path, love for Earth, clothing & community led me to create WØRN, a Second-hand Clothing spot to circulate economy & clothing.
I’m deeply grateful to the many teachers, life experiences, people & places that have shaped my path — from Oklahoma, Naples Italy, Virgina Beach, Ohio, California, Brooklyn, New York & here in Sweden.

Hi! I'm Dana. I've been teaching yoga for 20 years! I have had the beautiful privilege of learning from many amazing teachers and have studied in a variety of different modalities.
Most recently I have trained in Trauma Informed Yoga with The Sensory Enhanced Yoga Institute, Mindfulness for Children with The Interdependence Project, and Polyvagal Theory for Trauma with Dr. Arielle Schwartz.
My studies have also taught me much about mantra and the power of song, the chakras as a roadmap for self discovery, and the beauty of rest and restorative practices. I love leading moon circles, workshops and retreats as an opportunity to share these practices. I have taught and led retreats in NYC, Costa Rica, India and Cleveland
My current work is centered on teaching yoga + mindfulness to kids, ranging from age 2-12, as well as leading community classes and women’s groups at the Cleveland Rape Crisis Center.
I am a musician and love to share my sonic sound creations with the world! I incorporate sound and song into my teachings as a tool for self empowerment and accessing joy!
I am a mama of two beautiful boys who continuously inspire me and fill me with joy.
I am a partner to a creative, talented and supportive human.
I love what I do and am grateful for the opportunity to share in community with all of you.
